How PactDesk works

Every transaction starts with a conversation.

The seller and buyer settle the details before a payment link is created. PactDesk is designed for one seller per server—not a marketplace of unrelated merchants.

01 / SUPPORT

Open a private ticket

A buyer asks a question or describes what they want. Seller staff respond in a restricted Discord channel.

02 / AGREEMENT

Review the order

The seller enters the item or service, quantity, USD unit price, and agreed terms. The buyer accepts the summary before checkout.

03 / PAYMENT

Pay through Stripe

When the seller's Stripe test account is ready, the buyer opens Stripe-hosted Checkout. PactDesk updates the order only after a signed payment event.

These features are implemented in the current test build. Their availability for live commerce remains subject to testing and Stripe onboarding.

Tickets and permissions

Private buyer tickets, configurable support access, ticket categories, optional order threads, and retained conversation records.

Orders and receipts

Unique order numbers, itemized totals, buyer acceptance, payment-status tracking, private order history, and payment receipts.

Seller records

Private sales CSV exports with UTC payment timestamps and payment references for reconciliation. Tax calculations and accounting advice are not included.

Reviewed vouches

After a confirmed sale, seller staff may submit proof for private administrator review before a configurable public vouch is posted.

PactDesk is under active development. This public page explains the software and its current testing boundaries; it does not accept orders or collect card details.

Available for testing

  • A Discord bot in a limited testing server
  • Private ticket-to-order workflow and buyer acceptance
  • Stripe test-mode onboarding and hosted Checkout integration
  • Signed webhook-based payment confirmation, records, and receipts

Not live yet

  • No public self-service seller signup or subscription sales
  • No live-mode card processing or live customer purchases
  • Refund automation, dispute management, and detailed tax tooling are planned, not currently available
  • Live launch will require completed verification, policies, security review, and additional end-to-end testing

Purchases, refunds, and cancellations during testing

No physical goods or paid software plans are offered through this website. Test-mode transactions use simulated payment methods and do not move real money. A buyer can abandon a test payment attempt by leaving Checkout; the order remains in the Discord ticket. Each future seller will need clear item-specific delivery, cancellation, and refund terms before collecting live payments. PactDesk does not yet automate refunds or disputes.

Support and privacy

Help stays with the order.

Test participants contact the seller through a private PactDesk support ticket in the Discord server where they are purchasing. Tickets also keep the agreed terms and payment status together.

PactDesk stores Discord identifiers, ticket and order information, payment references, and submitted vouch details for its support and audit workflow. Card entry is handled by Stripe-hosted Checkout; this site does not ask for card numbers. A public support email and full production policies will be added before live launch.
